HOW TO WEAR CULOTTES

With the weather beaming this week, it's finally time for a coat-less outfit, I've been dying to style these culottes for a post since I'm absolutely in love with them! 

Culottes have definitely been modernised from the typical item of clothing that men wore back in the Renaissance times to a do I don't I statement piece that's been hitting the shelves like hot cakes for this SS15.

BUT how do I wear them I hear you ask, first things first TRY THEM ON, with culottes it's almost essential to keep proportions balanced rather than looking like a short potato sack (I'm talking oversized everything). Structure your silhouette with a tight jumper tucked in or a stiff boxy crop top. Add a little height and throw on some heeled boots for the casual wear or strappy heels for the night. If you're like me and also like to lean towards the comfort zone and don't fancy walking with a heel that's bigger than 3 inches all day, trainers or pointed shoes will do the trick!
